I was just another MapleStory M player, NoxPox, trying to buy mesos—only to get the same frustrating response: “Jem bought all.” Again and again. I remembered Jem as a mysterious meso hoarder who unknowingly kept me from making my purchase.
 
Eventually, we became guildmates, and I finally met the guy responsible for my virtual financial struggles. When I decided to quit the game, I sold all my gear for mesos—and, fittingly, sold it all to him. But this time, he didn’t just take my mesos. He took a place in my life.
 
Our meso transactions led to conversations, and before I knew it, we had something more than just a guild connection.
 
Fast forward a few years, and he’s no longer just a fellow guildmate or my meso-snatching nemesis—he’s my fiancé.
 
From guild forts and boss runs to wedding planning, we’ve come a long way. And now, we’re ready for our next big quest—marriage.
